My Story
Welcome to Georgia Marie Jewellery
I'm Liz, I'm 38 and a mum to a little sassy six year old! The business name is my daughter's middle name 'Georgia' followed by my middle name 'Marie'.
Growing up in Kessingland and Southwold on the East Anglian Coast I have spent much of my life at the beach and although I have lived in some other beautiful areas of England I am very happy to be living back on the East Coast.
I have lovely memories of beachcombing with family and friends and my mum used to make beautiful jewellery from her beach finds when I was little. These traditions have continued with my little family and we love our time at the beach, collecting treasure as we go. My partner is a keen photographer and Miss P is an adventurous soul so we all love our time on Suffolk and Norfolk's beautiful beaches. We also travel further afield to source more colourful sea glass from other parts of the UK coastline.
I have always found peace and happiness in creativity, exploring various hobbies throughout my life and love the whole process from the design, to the making, to the finished product.
I worked in the Jewellery industry for 15 years and in 2019 decided to put my knowledge of repairs, materials and design to the test by taking a small silversmithing course.. I was hooked!
In 2020 I was made redundant and so Georgia Marie Jewellery soon became my full time job! I have since taken further silversmithing courses and I feel very lucky to be doing something I love every single day.
In September 2022 I opened my own shop at Henstead Arts & Craft Centre in Suffolk where you can view the entire collection and find me happily making unique, handmade jewellery.
I love making bespoke pieces so if you have a specific request just email me or pop in for a chat at
Unit 8, Henstead Arts & Craft Centre, NR34 7LG
Special thanks to my family and close friends for their support.
